Summer evenings are perfect for sitting outside and watching a movie with friends and family! St. Augustine and many of the surrounding towns offer free outdoor summer movies in parks during the summer. Moviegoers should bring blankets, chairs, picnic baskets, bug spray, and make plans to come early with your family, friends, and neighbors. Check websites to confirm times in case of inclement weather.

St. Augustine:: Summer Movies at Colonial Oak Music Park

Ripley’s Believe It or Not has teamed up with the St. Augustine Colonial Quarter and Red Train Tours to present a great movie line up starting June 12th. All movies begin at 8:30 pm at the Colonial Oak Music Park located at 33 St. George Street. Cost: Free. There is seating provided on a first come first serve basis.

Community First Night Owl Cinema at The Amp St. Augustine

The Amp St. Augustine and Community First Credit Union proudly announce the return of the free, family-friendly summer film series, “Community First Night Owl Cinema.” The wildly popular film series draws thousands of moviegoers who come to enjoy free, family-friendly films projected on a giant 18 by 32-foot screen on the Amp’s main stage. The series is free and open to all ages, with free parking and concessions available for purchase. Gates open at 7 pm, film starts at 8 pm.

The City of Palm Coast’s Parks and Recreation Department and Flagler Schools proudly present Movies in Central Park on the second Friday of each month (excluding January, February November, and December). The movie begins at dusk and admission is free.

Brandie made her way to Jacksonville via South Carolina, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. She met her Chicago-born husband while in college at Boston University in 2000.
